Minesh Thakkar (Manny)Minesh has an extensive background in mortgage lending, having started his career over 20 yrs ago after graduating from University of Windsor with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. He has held numerous management roles in financial services, underwriting and business development with Scotiabank, BMO, ING Direct, TD and Xceed. Manny started brokering in 2011 and sees this side of the business as the one that provides the most satisfaction by giving back to people by educating them on the insider details of mortgages and how to attain property. His passion in real estate and in working with interesting people brought him to choose Mortgage Brokering business as continuation of his career. In 2019, he joined RMA and is now the Compliance Manager of the firm.
Ron De SilvaRon entered the mortgage industry in 1996 as a mobile mortgage specialist with CIBC. Over the next two years Ron moved to the role of Area sales manager for GTA West. In 2000, Ron moved into the broker world and helped launch INVIS Financial Group into Ontario. Moving through the ranks at INVIS, Ron performed the roles of broker, sales manager and finally vice-president of marketing & e-commerce when in 2004 he heeded the call from an innovative new start-up lender (Cervus Financial Group). After the purchase of Cervus by Macquarie Bank, Ron moved back in to the broker world and launched RMA. Ron is the Principal Broker of RMA and serves as Chief Executive Officer of RMA and Broker One.
